I'm new here. Don't have a garage.... yet. Am hoping to purchase my first home next summer, and a garage/shop is one of the must haves in my purchase.
I've been on this site for a while, just as a serious lurker. I like checking out other people's setup. Get info on good deals for tools. Find out what tools are good, and what are ****. Etc.
Fairly recently (last friday) started my "good" tool collection. Stepping up from Craftsman (not that there is anything wrong with Craftsman). Picked up a Matco 3/8" drive impact from a pawn shop for $45.
And picked up most of a 155pc Blue-Point socket set for $170. I feel like I overpaid a little on this, since it is missing 6 sockets or so, but I'm still happy with the purchase.
Anyhow, I'm hoping to further my knowledge from you guys. Can't wait.
