Looks like the right forum for discovering ideas of my future detached workshop.
Bought a house in April with a detached shop having an 18'X12' unfinished interior, an entrance door and a 9' rollup door. It also has an attached carport.
Now that the rooms in the house (including the sewing room) are in place, the man cave needs to be established.
Last owner had built two 8'X2' benches and two 8'X2' shelves, all attached to the studs.
Initial plan is to empty out the place and then insulate the walls, probably paper-backed pink.
Many decisions still to go that I hope this forum will present ideas such as wall coverings, ceiling storage, benches, shelving etc.
I have a start for walls from the last house, 10 36"x30" laminated wall closets and a lot of pegboard that may not be a good idea. For covering the floor there is a toolbox, radial-arm saw, hydraulic press, vices with floor stands, metal desk and carts.
