Good morning everyone, I’m new to the site. I am an iron worker by trade and building with wood is fairly new to me. Although I have built a beautiful shed I am more nervous about this project for some odd reason. I am going to be building an addition to my attached garage. The plan is to build a 14’x22’ with frost walls and 5” concrete floor, with vaulted ceilings to be able to put a 2 post lift in for my Jeep project. Any tips or secrets would be greatly appreciated. Not afraid of constructive criticism.
Thanks everyone
Derek

I was hoping to share a picture of the shed I built but can’t figure out how to get it on here

Welcome to the Forum, many of the things done in building with wood and iron seem to copy each other. Obviously Wood was used before Iron, but what is done in one is also done in the other; Wood gets nailed, pegged and bolted, Iron gets bolted, riveted and welded.
