Here are some pics of my shop I built 5 years ago. I hat to say I need some more room and the yard tools and other stuff out of my shop and our 2 car garage at the house. We are starting a 24'x30' with a 14' shed next week by the house. It will have an 8'x18' door in the 24' wall and a 9'x8' door under the shed. We price a shed on skids and this in not that much more for the 24'x30' part. Plus it will hold cars... I will post pics when they start. Here is some info about my shop. I have 220 3 phase. I build my own bridge crane that has a 1-ton chain hoist. I have racks high on one wall to store engine cores and junk. It has heat and AC. A workshop with storage above and 24' of kitchen (upper and lowers) cabinets that were 23 old displays that I bought from Home Depot for $450. I have got a 2-post lift. I have stick, tig and mig welders. My mig is a DC-400 That I got cheep 3-phase. My compressor is also a big used 3 phase. I would live in there if my wife did not care.

That's an excellent amount of space John. I'm a pack rat too, but only have a 2.5 car attached right now. I can only imagine the things I would drag home if I had a shop that size.

The red ones on the rack were extra auction stuff. There were 2 more you could not see. They are now gone. I have one engine driven welder, There a 3 in the shop. Here is the list in the shop Lincoln DC-400 it is a CC/CV machine 400amp 100% duty cycle. I use it to stick and run my wire feeders for MIG. The one on the bottom is a Lincoln R3R300 I use it to stick and carbon arc with. The Blue one on the stand is a little Miller ecno TIG. I have 3 wire feeders two LN-7's one with .023 and one with .035 wire. The blue wire feeder is a pus pull feed for Aluminum wire to MIG with.
The fridge my mother told me to haul off for her it she said it would not work. After I took it home and blew the coils out. It works great. The shop gets used for everything. From heavy welding to equipment repair to Hotrods to Deer Stands to kids toys and science projects. It is in a bad need for a fall cleaning soon.
