Came here looking for garage/shop ideas. I am currently having a 20x20 shop built (see avatar). I will be finishing the interior walls, ceiling, attic floor and electrical.

Sample pic from a few days ago. They are just about finished this week. The Hardie board siding is going on today and tomorrow then the shingles on the roof. Paint goes on next week weather permitting.

Very nice! It looks like you'll have some usable space in the attic. What is the roof pitch?

Welcome. Is the Intro section hard to find on this forum ?

Hopefully a Moderator will move it for you.

Geez - give it a rest. Actually, it is not obvious. It's at the top of this forum - regular members know where it is. I lurked here for quite awhile and never saw it myself because it wasn't separate and was detached from the other posts on this forum. It is actually quite easy to miss. It lives up there with the useless stuff on most forums so you learn to ignore that part after awhile. Don't give the guy so much grief just because he came to the side door.

Welcome....I didn't see it either.....much less use it.....

BTW....why 20x20? Why not bigger?

Just could not go bigger on that side of the house. Lot line code and my tie back slope would have run over the line. On the other side of the property I could have went bigger but the subdivision police said I could not have another dirveway.

My house garage is a a nice size at 20'-8"x22'-5" clear inside dimensions. So the extra space the 20x20 gives us will really help out.
