I am about 3-4 weeks from the completion of my new house and JUST had the thought of what do to with my garage floor. I've been reading though the threads on here and hope some pros jump in.

What should I ask the contractors to do to the garage floor so I can add an inexpensive sealer (like Eagle gloss) to the floor? Is there a vendor product here that is similar in performance? I'm willing to pay a bit more, but not ready for a professional epoxy.

Unfortunately they went ahead and installed a baseboard all around the garage already, but I can have them take that out. The concrete team has to come back to do some stamped concrete outside, so it may be a good time to ask for this. Thank you!

EDIT: 544sqft garage I plan on using one half of for building a Factory Five car.

EDIT2: Armorpoxy's site helped. Ghostshield w/densifier (~$450) or Armorpoxy Master kit (~$750). For my purposes, no welding/DIY/FFR build, Epoxy worth the extra $300?

We normally recommend that no added sealer is added to the concrete mix that would prohibit absorption and/or bonding of a coating. Sometimes they add sealers which for any product, not just ours, would then require grinding off. Standard smooth trowel finish, not burnished.
