Hi folks!
After several years of relocating frequently for work, we're finally moving into a home in Cleveland, OH, that has a 3-car attached garage for our cars!
The garage floor currently appears minimally protected (see attached photo) and previous owners didn't regularly park vehicles other than motorcycles inside. We're planning to use the garage to park our daily drivers as well as a new-to-me Lotus (photo also attached) which I'll enjoy tinkering with when I have a chance.
I received quotes from local contractors for epoxy flooring and was surprised at costs in the $6-8 / sq ft range. Since this isn't likely to be our 'forever' home, I'm inclined to be a little more economical and considering a sealant covered by tiles. Given I'm still traveling for work often, a full DIY isn't a practical solution for us.
I'll start scouring the forums for similar situations and information, but also would appreciate any feedback on the proposed plan and any other suggestions you might have!
Cheers,
Bryan
