I just wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself. I joined this site awhile back but just started checking out the forums and the information this site has to offer. My history is mostly working as a project manager in the automotive manufacturing industry. My most recent projects involved the launch of the new Volkswagen TN and Toyota MS plants. Ive had the opportunity to meet alot of great Skilled Trades (and some real characters) at the various sites Ive been at and they were kind enough to share some of their knowledge as my skill set grows. In my personal life I enjoy working on cars, woodworking, and vintage electronics. Lately Ive branched out into being interested in German handtools as well as vintage tools. We are now in an era where I think most people view tools as invaluable and disposable where my father was in era where you kept and cared for a tool for life. Im slowly building a purposeful collection and hope to one day have something I can pass on to my children.
