Howdy-
I recently purchased a new home, and need to get some ideas.. I did my first mancave a couple years ago..

Mancaves to me are what you need them, since I fish, and boat I need mine to be functional work spaces, with enough room to have a drink or 10 with some fellas on the rainy days..

So far I have done my flooring, epoxy deep blue with a custom ordered metal flake.

Walls are painted same grey as before.

But now I have all these electrical outlets in my way making wall space a interesting challenge and my new home has a wall that is almost useless...It has the drain to the pan on the A/C, and teh vent from the dryer.. Not much usage IMO.

So any help ideas..

I have a LOT of tackle and tools since I started the old mancave, see the old one, in these pics.

Where is the wall with too many outlets and the useless wall at in the pics? Rule #1....a garage can never have too many outlets. And as far as a useless wall, is it a wall in the house or in the garage? If it is a wall in the garage then that is Rule #2......no wall in a garage is useless

Oh and BTW....I really like those windows in the garage. That adds some real character.

The pics are of my old man cave.
The useless wall has an a/c system over it and a dryer duct running on the floor makes it hard to use with a water heater there too. I can use a rack to hang a few yar tools but that's about it on that wall.

Overall dimensions if guess its 24x14. A few foot wider and longer than a standard 2 car.

It's getting knockdown ceilings in a week.

Nice start. The epoxy really cleans up the look and those windows are cool.

Hard to believe the term 'man cave' is already twenty years old.

Think that is the first blue epoxy floor I've noticed. Looks very nice and you garage is taking on a very refined look. Looking forward to seeing more and to see how the KD ceiling will turn out.

Thanks. I was contemplating putting a mural of the "skyway" (sunshine skyway bridge), but the work benches and tool chests will cover that wall..

I will take pics tomorrow.. Today we cleaned up the interior. Drywall is a dirty job. We had 2400 sq ft retextured, walls and ceilings in the house.

I have 2 gladiator shelves taht are the hammered powder coat look. I have one shelf/bench that folds down. Estimate it to be 3ft wide.

So the wall that when you open the garage and look forward, will have the gladiator fold-down, then the tool chest, then the work bench..

I think.

still confused on the rodracks.. wish someone would give me a cool idea.

actually i am going to look into the idea of getting a piece of aluminum tubing shaped in a wide "u" shape, and having "rocket launchers" welding on it. If you know much about boating, think ttops, and how their rocket lauchers are on it, except welding them on so they lay parralel with the floor but at a slight angle to keep the rod in the seat of the launcher.

appreciate that.. Yesterday I had to rewire my hot water heater timer.. What a PITA. They make it so that only small little men with small little hands can work those connectors LOL. Forgot to take pics. Had to hang 6 new lights/fans and finish painting the house ceilings.
