After three years of renting i finally got fed up with having to work on my projects in a storage unit and having stuff scattered in 5 locations 3 hours apart, so i bought a house! In the final stages right now, hoping to close the first week in november. Little info on the house and what i got upcoming for it. The house was built in 1967 and is well taken care off other than a few minor issues. Comes with 1 1/4 acres and will be perfect for me. The real issue is the yard that has been fully taken over, oh and the "tasteful" pink shower that needs gutted and redone. So anyway, here's some pics of what i bought and some of the projects i've been working on in preparation to start taking care of the property right when we close.
Mind you this house is at the end of a dead end street, here's the street view
garage as it currently sits
standing next to the doorway to the mud room, looking into the dining room, kitchen, and main entrance. Very open floor plan for being this old of a house.
former goldfish pond, you can see how thick it is here.
Here are the two projects i have been working on getting going to use on the property.
My late 60's Simplicity 3112H. Did a rearend swap last weekend, machine hasn't run in almost 10 years
My remington John Deer chainsaw that still has a broken oiler.
