Did anyone see the new episode of the Inventions show. It showed two brothers who built a hydraulic creeper that takes you from the standing position to laying 4 inches flat off the ground under your vehical. It takes about a sec and a half to perform the task and looked very smooth. It was also fairly resonable in size. It has a llithium recharge battery that does like 60 lifts off a charge. It comes with 2 batteries and its built very solid. It had tool trays on the sides and is expected to cost around a grand. They took it in a shop and the techs loved it and said it woud really save the wear adn tear of climbing under vehicals all day long on the concrete. The oldest tech loved it and said would extend his career from saving pain. What is your take?

i did see it, thought it was sweet, but expensive beyond reason, and i own a $200 creeper. i know i'm not old enought ot be complaining yet, but getting up and down off the concrete is getting harder everyday it feels. also, i don't know any mechanics that use a creeper anymore, they'd rather use a ladder to get to the top of a car on the hoist as oppsed to lowering it and using a creeper. (i'm a body guy by the way, only one hoist in the shop, we do it all on the floor still.)
