they're more than decent, they're one of the best impact sockets you can buy unless they move production from Taiwan to India  :wtf:

If you don't like red boxes, you can get their twins, Grey Pneumatic in a blue box.

I got the 2569 set (from Home Depot since they were taking forever through Amazon) - seemed worth it for the extensions and the wobble socket, not to mention the deep and standard length sockets.

Very nice looking set. I cheaped out last week and bought Tekton knowing full well they are soon to release a new line. But I got a Bosch impact for Christmas and currently had no impact sockets. I had budget restrictions (AKA: retirement income) to satisfy so I took what I think is probably the inferior.

I've had the Sunex 2646 set of 1/2" metric deeps going on 5 years now. No issues at all and like others said, Sunex is decent value for the money. My only knock would be that they don't chamfer the female drive openings but that's only a real annoyance if you are changing sockets constantly. Size markings are both etched and roll stamped.

Can find better design/durability for same to less cost .
Sunex nothing special besides good range coverage .
Pretty much any of the better effort taiwan impacts hold up great, proper heat treated crv being best durability and all I will buy for daily hard working 3/8 and 1/2" as don't wallow out so fast . My taiwan impact sockets held up better than my MAC set by a mile and 1/4 the cost .

pretty much any of the more decent taiwan oems rebranded under, japan style, werkzueg, toptul, tektons new impact sockets and many others of same design of Taiwan origin, my favourites are japan style and some lines from werkzueg . Would of liked to seen AP do a complete line of impacts as they good at sourcing and making best of taiwan manufacture and be easier source for whole US market .

Have this a couple years. Not used often, but fine when it’s needed. Realize it’s Taiwan made, dirt cheap, Can’t beat the price.IMG_1762.jpg
