Have a look at the new J.H. Williams Tool Group Website. It's a similar format to the new Snap-on site, using Digimag to allow you to browse the catalog page by page or using a search function.

www.jhwilliamstoolgroup.com

There's info there on Williams Hand Tools, CDI Torque, BAHCO and Milford Band Saw Blades.

You'll find the "Williams" has changed a lot over the last 18 months. If you had not seen one of the new catalogs published after Jan 1, 2007 you'd never know about the new program.

I was looking at the Williams catalog and really like some of their stuff; like the old style Snap-On screwdrivers that have been discontinued and the old 40/50s old school ratchets with the cool handles. The thing is, that they really are not offered at very many vendors online it seems; the warranty exchange issue seems like it would be a hassle. I don't remember seeing williams tools being sold anywhere in my area; does this sound like a similar situation for everyone else? Williams as a brand has never seemed like a major player in the tool market in my experience living in the western/southwest part of the USA; am I wrong? As a matter of fact I don't remember seeing williams tools at any retail store anywhere; I have lived in california, texas, and new mexico most of my life.

Williams is a "distribution" band.
You'll find it at Industrial distributors, rather than retail outlets. Click "Where to Buy J.H. Williams Tools" and see what comes up for your area.

I've never seen Williams either ... is it another low cost import?

I was just teasing - I've seen Williams around in industrial distribution... I just wanted to see if I could get a rise out of the snap-on folks.... :)
