I'm guessing Metabo HPT will eventually have a version. Hikoki has quite a few new tools in Japan. I really think Metabo HPT should just change their name to Hikoki. You may need to have your browser translate the page. I'm guessing more and more tool companies will be adding similar Bluetooth features as time goes on. The Hikoki has quite a few new and upddated models in Japan

The main function of the Bluetooth tools I’ve seen is secretly dialing down the power on your buddies drill

So I went out browsing and did some comparisons. The Metabo HPT side/angle grinder and multi tool, both 36v, feels better in my hand over Makita (18v and 40v) and my Ryobi’s. The drill - torque drivers feel about equal. I use multi tools and angle grinders quite a bit. Plus, I want to go with a cordless miter saw. I haven’t seen one in person, the HPT allows for both corded and battery. The Makita’s are batteries only. I’m not interested in lots of “ fluff” many brands offer ( coolers, radios, coffee makers, etc). I’m already invested with EGO for outdoor items. Right now I’m leaning toward HPT/Hikoki over Makita XGt.
