New Jersey builders, any recommendations?

Hello all, I am located in central New Jersey and am looking for some recommendations for a builder to construct a 2 car attached garage. Most of my searches lead me to detached pole barn builders, however I assume they are still involved in attached structures. Any suggestions?

Not sure howe far they'll travel...but I would absolutely recommend Stoltzfus Structures in Atglen PA. They built my garage and did a tremendous job.

One of the few contractors that actually called me back quoted me $85 sq/ft on building an attached garage on my house. They've done some work on my house, work was decent but they were more than a little messy. I can PM you his contact info if you want.

Thank you, I have used HomeAdvisor in the past with some success, however I am not entirely confident with this platform. The ratings can be deceiving depending on what type of work you are interested in. For an addition for example, many contractors will list essentially everything as a "specialty" from handyman to building a house. You see 45 positive reviews, and think they must be legit, until you read the reviews and they are all handyman jobs. "Fixed my hot water heater", "Installed gutters", esc, nothing about building or construction.

I think they do only detached, prefabricated garages. I need an attached garage

This is going to sound like I'm being a wise ***, but got Home Depot or lowes and pull numbers off trucks. The other option is to go to the mill work desk and talk to the guys working, a lot of them are contractors or know contractors. Usually though any home general contractor could do an attached garage.

My concern is not finding contractors, in New Jersey, its not difficult, its finding good contractors. Negative experiences seem far more frequent than positive ones in this area. So many guys competing for the same work, short cuts, incorrect estimates, workers with no experience, esc.
