I have them, unfortunately I have problems for using as the wire strippers but they are handy as all get out as needle nose and for the occasional wire stripper. They work well as wire strippers but I'm just so used to my regular ones. But they are defiantly worth the money.

I have used (and abused) its plain sibling with wire cutter and single 12AWG stripper, the D203-8N for years!
IMO, these are the best heavy duty cutters!
I bet the ones you are referring to would be a great investment.

I'm looking at this thinking, how the hell did it take so long to come up with this? What a no brainier. I'll take two!

A nice alternative to the knipex electrical installation pliers. My electrical bag is full of Klein journeyman pliers with a few knipex thrown in

They look nice except for "crimps non insulated connectors".

I can't remember the last time I used a non insulated crimp connector.

I got the Milwaukee version of this pliers about a year ago. I don't like it that much.
The cutter is too small to cut a piece of romex and the stripping part is easily dulled if you grab some metal by accident on the teeth.
The screw cutter works great though.

I think these are a good value especially since the comparable Knipex version is $60+. I have never had any problems with a Klein tool. They have always been top notch.

They have them in stock (both types) at my local Home Depot for about $41 or $42. I saw them when I was looking at screwdrivers.

I have the regular pair without the crimper that I bought from an electrical supply store when they first came out and unfortunately, the stripping function of them doesn't work that well. It's not as 'sharp' as any of my regular sets of traditional Klein wire strippers. Stripping wire with them is very high effort like the strip holes either aren't sized correctly or weren't sharpened properly. Maybe I got an early defective pair? I can't believe Klein would field such a poorly performing tool.

It's too bad because I was really excited about them at first because they do everything else perfect except strip which is a deal breaker. I really don't know what to do with them so they just ride in the door pocket of my truck.

I am positive. I looked right at them and the ones like I have without the crimper. The only thing I'm not 100% on is the price. I didn't commit it to memory but they were 40something bucks. $41 or $42? Maybe.

Thought about trying to exchange mine but I'd feel like a schmuck.

Other than the crimper feature on the second model, this new tool appear to do the same stuff their 11045 standard wire strippers can do. Cut, strip and bend. Just probably more heavy duty. Still a pretty cool tool though.

I went to Home Depot today and only saw the original. I guess I will order from Amazon or wait for my Depot to get them in.

I would say your Depot will have them soon. I don't think they've been at mine long. They rearranged the pegs to make room for both types and it stood out to me. Generally I always walk by and drool at the goodies and see if anything is on clearance.

Do they have the tools on display there? Are they open Saturday? I'm going to be out in Mentor tomorrow and I know they are out there.

Not sure about the Mentor branch - at Warrensville Hts everything is behind the counter and you just ask to see whatever is it.
I don't know if that one is open Saturdays.

There's a really nice electrical supply house local to me that stocks a whole wall of just Klein along with Fluke and Milwaukee power tools. Best part is you can walk right up and browse up close. They turn a lot of stock and always have something new to drool on. They even carry several repair parts for Klein tools like replacement plier handles, plier springs, bits for the 11 in one or 5 in one screwdrivers. Their screwdriver selection is also impressive complete with mm and sae nutdrivers, longs included as well as torx drivers.
