Good question. Kind of a bummer, I wanted to pick some up. Oh well. Such is life.

I've been very satisfied with mine. I too was wondering about the warranty issue when I noticed I could not find them be searching Lowes website.

I think I got the last two sets of these in the Denver metro area today. One for me, and one for pops for father's day. And, they fit in my box, think I'm going to add some other cut outs to the foam as well, to use the space more effectively.

Apparently these are now a clearance / discontinued item at Lowes. I went to my local store and located the last two sets in stock, the employee wanted them gone, got each set for $11.75 each, no complaints here...one is all I needed but for that price couldn't pass it up.

I just picked up a set myself. They were doing remodeling in the local Lowes and had to move a tool rack. They had called behind and were all dusty. Got my set for 11.75 as well. I was thinking of buying some Witte screwdrivers...will they fit into these foam slots as well?

That's because is was a special one time only set that was part of last year's black Friday/holiday sales that isn't normally stocked. Any sets left over were reduced until they were gone. Welcome to the journal!!

Green set was 20 pcs for $20, Blue set is 12 pcs for $40.

I see a bad trend.....
