If this lock looks like it will work let me know. You can have it for a couple bucks to cover shipping.

It will just be lock and key with the nut on the back of the barrel.

the face of the lock is about 1.25 in

The length is aprox. 1 inch to where the latch mechanism would attach and 1.25 in overall.

Contact Home Depot, they should be able to help; if not try to figure out who the OEM is and contact them:

Some member said when they tried to get a couple slides (and/or drawers) for their Husky chest that the box the replacement parts where shipped were from Stanley so they maybe the OEM. As Billymade said, your best bet is to call Home Depot as Husky is HD's house brand.

Call HUSKY not Home Depot. HD will tell you they didn't sell it, if they did, it was already broken, there are no parts, it's your fault, etc.
All I ever get from HD on tool boxes is grief and excuses.

However; The number in the inside of the top drawer is the one you want to call.
888-HD-Husky (888-434-8759)
I've called it four times now. Polite people trying to be helpful. Not as nice as Waterloo (for when Craftsman says 'you can't get the part') but very good place to call.

Get the number from the lock if you want a key, or the lock itself.
Best of luck.

That phone # is interesting, because... when googled it came up to this post: http://www.craftsmantooltalk.com/BBS/Start_your_own_discussions/6350/6393/tree-page1.html
Which interestingly enough; is what we thought: "The Stanley Works"!

Um, yeah. The slides I was sent (no charge) were shipped direct from Stanley.
They do market a lot of boxes under Husky though, so I would not be suprised if they buy from other vendors.
I know the Husky boxes I have messed with vary a LOT.
