I’m a hobby machinist and I like acquiring older tooling for my garage shop.
These two chucks,a Cushman 3 jaw and a South Bend/Skinner 4 jaw independent came home with me the other day. They will be added to the tooling for my South Bend heavy ten.
Both are in good working order although I have not put them on the lathe and indicated them yet,the mechanisms are tight and the turn smoothly.
The V blocks are a Brown and Sharp,a Mitutoyu and a shop made one.
I sometimes think I like collecting these things as much as using them.
These will make a nice addition to my Burke Millrite tools.

Very nice finds! I concur, sometimes the collecting is more fun! Before being promoted, I spent 35 years in QC / Metrology. I still can’t switch it off. My home tools now out weigh my shop tools… Looking forward till till the day they’re all “home” tools…😉
