How do you like the set so far? And for the other non-Makita members on here, was it worth the price you paid for the set? Also which circular saw did you purchase?

I've got that set plus Reciprocating saw and circular saw and love them even more than a year in a daily use environment...

I have the Makita LXT 18V set. Impact driver, hammer drill, circular saw and angle grinder. They are all fantastic except for the angle grinder. It is so under powered except for the lightest use. I can't say enough about the others though.... I notice virtually no difference between the circ saw and a corded one.

we have a set on the truck that we have been using for about five years. The sawzall losses power when it gets cold.We went thru 4 batteries, got debris in the sawzall, melted a motor on a drill. If you get the motor or batteries too hot you will be buying new batteries or repairing the tools! I do believe that makita tool are well worth the money. I have used dewalt and rigid battery tools and the makita are better balanced and last longer.Fan for life!
