Hey everyone! Glad I found this site through another forum, a guy I've never met but got a sweet vintage snap on tool box from! Bull is his name on my car club forum so hopefully he'll recognize me here!

About me: I'm a mechanic, auto detailer, landscaping laborer and construction laborer, it all depends on the time of day. So I'm all about using tools nearly all day everyday! That is why I'm here!

I'm also an enthusiast and love my car and am rounding the bend to getting the body on a fresh frame two years after an accident in my Caprice.

Enough about that, I'm here for the tools! Looking for the honest reviews NOT on the tool website and what is actually made in USA! I've bought tools thinking they would be US made (Matco puller set for example) and found them to be the standard Taiwan/Chinese stuff! So I'm looking to get the dirt on whats the real deal!

Looking forward to meeting some good people here! And of course drooling over vintage tools and some nice looking garages, I have a tent garage  so I'll be jealous of some of you guys!

Anyway, see you posting on the boards!

-Matt

I came into this section because I was hoping you had decided to join. Welcome aboard. You will find the people here numerous, knowledgeable, and predominantly kind and helpful. If you have any problems, all you need to do is let me know.

Free Parking is a section where you can (and should!) post the details of your frame-off project.

The General Tools section is where you will spend way, way too much time learning and sharing information about tools.

Those are just two of many helpful areas here.

I'd better see those post numbers and activity levels remain dynamic i.e. stick around and participate!

I'll do my best with the post numbers! I like to participate but timing is a big issue! Just got another detailing customer, paving company...long days ahead.

I'd love to post a thread with a quick recap of my frame off but that may take some time! Probably in winter when it's too cold to actually work on the project anyway :D

General tools will be home base and an open tab in my browser from here on out.

Oh, and thanks for pointing me in this direction once again!

Welcome to the GJ from VA!

Heard that all the way in MA!

Welcome to the GJ.

Thanks, I like the place so far!
