Just signed up today but have been lurking around for a month or so. Just had the pad poured for a 24 x 28 garage (just a little bigger than the current attached), going with in-floor heat, 10 ft. side walls, scissor trusses to achieve a 13 foot centre, four leg hoist to come soon, all this to treat my 57 Buick Roadmaster, 56 Pontiac and various uninteresting new cars properly.
p.s. I put my radient heat pipe on 12 - 14 inch centres, (except for the line closest to the wall it is at six inches), 3 loops of just under 250' each.
Would love to build an old Gas Station style but .....even this garage had to overcome a big guilt complex...you're supposed to save money, not spend it..right??
