Hi guys, just joined this forum so I am introducing myself. I am an avid car enthusiast with very little hands-on experience working on cars, so I look forward to learning how while assembling an awesome tool collection.

as far as tools i have collected so far:

set of 3 long reach pliers (45 deg/90/long reach)
got a free westward 3/8in ratchet with extension and 14mm socket
a 20pc mastercraft 3/8in ratchet and socket set
set of 3/8in shallow swivel sockets with rail
a cheap magnetic pick up tool that already broke (need to get a better one)
2 pocket screw drivers, one of them snap on
and finally my first snap on tool; got for free a 14/17mm dual closed end wrench

i am already learning the value of good quality tools, as a few of my friends are mechanics and they have a huge collection of snap on tools. i got to try a few out and wow what a difference!

as a new member, am I allowed to PM members or do I need to wait for a certain period of time? I am already hunting for a better 3/8in ratchet and socket set, and as a friend advised a quality set of screw drivers. I will also need to decide on either a tool box or tool cart to put everything in
