Had to join to follow along on some interesting posts.

I have a vintage Air compressor made by Champion Pneumatic Machinery Co.
It was left in the basement of an old farm house and looks to be old. 20s or 30s maybe

2 questions
Age?
Is it worth anything?

Not sure if it works - afraid to plug it in.

Can anyone comment - Thanks

Welcome to the forum. That looks like a 2 stage compressor with the two different size cylinders. How does the tank look? If the tank appears solid, I probably would be willing to give it a try. The pump could likely be rebuilt, even if it meant new gasket fabrication. Worth a try.

Thanks kb2tha

will try it when my brother is with me.

Built like a tank and the tank is solid. no riust.

Not sure when it last ran but will find out if it runs.
I contacted the company and if i give them the serial number - they might be able to look in their records for date of manufacture

thanks for you reply - ****
