Hi. So ive read a lot of useful stuff on this forum and since im currently rebuilding my garage i thought Why not join the club

Also if Anybody know where to get affordable cabinets, shipped to Denmark... Please let me know

The Best i fund is in the UK. A "newage" cabinet system for 3000 £ excl shipping Cost

That is so exspensive but I cant settle for anything less Beautiful Than That.

How ever... My garage is my first. Me and the wife bought our first house and of course it had to have a garage. It's a 50 sqm building with 6m to the roof. So i have put in a 2 post lift from danish company "Stenhøj" which is very high quality lifts.
When we took over the house there was No insulation in the garage. So currently i AM insulating and doing a lot of finishing work before i can really start to bring in all the gear.

I Will do a gallery later on for you Guys.

And by the way... Sorry for my pour english

Welcome to GJ, from a US forum member who's in your country this week. Staying in cental Copenhagen and working at my company's office south of the city area.

Everything is relative, I guess. Denmark is a crazy-expensive place to have any hobbies, isn't it?

Thx for all the greetings
Yeah Denmark is very exspensive if you want to do something just a little outside of the norm. And with motorcycle and cars as hobby you Are gonna have your work cut out.
Anybody in Europe with racedeck experience?

Fogh: we are still looking for a good way to ship some old tools from US to you guys in Europe and haven't yet that i know of. just wondering if you have access to materials and can you build your own cabinets?

one option i did instead of cabinets was to use commercial racks and put my benches under them so i could store things above my benches. can you get steel commercial racks in Denmark?

welcome

Drivesitfar. I have access to a lot of Things but my worries is about the quality of building a workbench / cabinet system myself. And looks. Im gong for a sleek modern autoshop look. and since im a trained mechanic... My fabrication skills Are limited to thin steel.
I was planning to do it my self but after a lot of thinking i decided to buy my way out of it and get just the look i want... Except i cant i my country... Not cheap anyway

Ive previously bought a lot of different stuff from the US and a lot of times shipping cost was actually quite cheap. The biggest issue is import taxes since It's from outside the EU. Cant believe we dont have free trade between EU and US in these modern world times...

Fogh: so i'll put it in your capable hands to fix that or we'll have to meet in Iceland to do some suitcase swapping of tools in the future. :D

so you mention there is a way to ship reasonably. would that be in a cardboard box or a shipping container?
