Hi All,

Yes I live on the other side of the Pacific ocean. I was seaching comment about mid-rise lift and come cross this great forum. Seeing alot of nice garage with work bench, lift and tools box really make me jealous. As space in my part of world is expensive so 95% of people have its car service done by shop.

I have a so call "village house" here in Hong Kong that has a garden. But it is so small compare to you guy. I have part of the garden built to park my cars that I enjoy so much. Before my marriage I live there but not now. I rent out the house to friend but still keeping part of the garden to park my cars and its locked. So technical i think i can call it a garage. I park 3 cars there but it is tight and trouble to move it out.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Hi and welcome to the forum ek4 hatchback, thanks you for sharing. You certainly will find lots of ideas and inspiration at the GJ, enjoy..

Yes, I am quite sure about it. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum

Are you near Stanley street in any way

No where near Stanley, it is in N.T.

Yes but the trade off is not very convenience compare to other people live in HK. But I don't live there now as my wife do not like living in the countryside.

Welcome, Wow it looks like you have a long but narrow garage...Rich

Yes, I think it is around 42 feet long by about 10 feet wide.

EK: welcome to the group. i've heard it's pretty expensive to live in Hong Kong. how does it compare to other places in the world?

cheers

Yes, it is very crazy now. I would not be able to afford buying a house right now. For example where i live now. It is a 50 years apartment with around 300 square feet. It is very small with 2 bedroom, open kitchen, 1 bathroom. It sells for $580000USD.
