Hello everyone, I'm brand new at this forum stuff (any forum) so bare with me. It's one degrees outside and I HAVE to fix my window washers on my truck today OUTSIDE before tonight snow storm. (over 5 ft. of snow in 2 weeks). So I'm hoping to build a 32' X 24" garage this spring? Propably a pole building (I'm cheap). Would like to hear pro / cons. 24'w? or 32'w 24'deep or 32'deep?

Bernie: sorry to hear your weather isn't so great, but i heard you guys made a deal with the devil to beat our Seahawks. it's only a game so i hope you didn't bargain for crappy weather all year.

lots of reading about pole buildings and most members will tell you to build as big of a garage as you can afford if asked so decide your budget before asking.

cheers and happy to have a guy that hasn't had a great garage to work in. my dream one day is to move out of the city and build a small house with a good size shop and enough driveway or level cement to have a fork lift.

Welcome from Ohio! We are fighting the cold here also. A -9* is the low tonight, but not the snow that you guys are dealing with. Good luck.

Welcome to the forum! I'm from CT but Boston is like my second home. Cancelled a trip there in January because of all the snow that hit. Can't imagine it's gotten any better with the pictures I've seen.

Good luck with your garage project! Be sure to post your progress.
