Hello everyone, My name is Ryan and I am a addict.

I am a life long addict and have been tinkering and building things since I was very young. My dad was a diesel mechanic by trade and hotrod builder for fun so I learned most of my addiction from him.

I just recently finished building a new house on 10 acres, no thanks to Covid, and now it has come time to start planning my shop. I was turned on to the garage journal from other forums I am part of like Ih8mud etc. currently playing with layouts for a 30x50ish shop( or the biggest I can afford).

thanks guys. I will start a build thread here in a while for input once I get some of my ideas down on paper.

The Evans canyon fire did get pretty close to our house but luckily the fire department stopped it at the ridge above our house so we were not in immediate danger. I am glad the smoke has finally blown away as my wife's Asthma was not happy.
