Hey everyone. I am a new member here from the Phoenix, AZ area. I sell go fast parts for cars for a company called "Black Market Racing" in Phoenix. My wife and I bought our house a year and a half ago and the time is near for me to start improving the garage. We live in a 1950s brick home that had the 2 car carport converted into a garage some years ago so the walls are not the traditional type at all. One side is exposed brick, the other is white painted siding and the other side is open frame work with some shelves built into it. Figuring out what to do with the walls is going to be my biggest thing to overcome first.

Then I need to get rid of my brother in laws Matco Tool Box/hutch combo to make some more room and get organized. I look forward to read about everyones tips and tricks and seeing what everyone else is doing for inspiration.

I am a 30 year old guy with a wife and 8 month old, and I am a ********* car-guy myself and have had nearly 20 cars already from classic cars to modern muscle to import performance. I don't discriminate as long as it has a purpose and goes fast!

Pap: awesome first post. i hope you like the heat because damn it's hot down there this time of year. i know if it's 95 up here in Seattle last week it must have been 120 in Phoenix.

as long as your air conditioning works in the summer you can laugh all winter long. :D

want to post up some pictures of your car(S) or maybe go in your GJ profile and click on Avitar and download your favorite or fastest car or picture to pop up under your new GJ name.

take care and ask questions if you have any. once guys get to know you i'm sure they will be calling you about business too. we get bombarded with sales guys and spam at times so stick around and test the water because there's a ton of stuff to learn here.

Thanks! I am a sponsored vendor on quite a few forums so I understand the rules about posting sales threads so I don't plan on doing any of that unless its my personal tools or stuff.

As far as the heat goes, after living in NJ and dealing with massive blizzards I will take the heat over snow anyday. Sunshine doesn't have to be shoveled, just find the nearest shade or pool and you are set!

I will definitely take some time later today to post up a history report of my cars so to speak since there seems to be a good amount of car guys on here that would appreciate it. Unfortunately right now since we recently bought the house, got married and had a baby the only cars I have are proper parent rides (Infiniti M45 and Mini Cooper Countryman S) but I hope to have another project car soon.

Pap: i know about the family cars because I've had minivans and Hondas for the last 20 to 30 years since i married the girl of my dreams and we raised 5 children.

many years ago i did own a 70 Mach 1 with a 428 cobra jet in it, but at 6'3" it wasn't very comfortable. it was pretty quick though. :D

if you like talking about tools and cars i think you found the place. a ton of wisdom in this group and growing all the time and of course there is a little BS to keep us smiling. of course there are few bully 3rd grader types too which are not common so report any if you happen to find them bothering you.
