Hello to all here at Garage Journal.

Been lurking on this site for about a week now and have found a lot of great information and wonderful inspiration. At the moment my wife and I are only renting a condo as we try and get settled after getting married last month and her finishing med. school not long before the wedding. The condo we are in has a nice deep one-car garage and I have been given the go a head to use it as mine own. I plan on creating a simple modular work space with the ability to move it all when we find a house in the next year. In the mean time it is packed full and I have to start the process of organizing and getting rid of things before the winter gets here. Pics soon to follow.

Pete

Welcome to GJ, Pete. If you don't mind a Floridian jumping in...

Congrats on the adventures you are starting - marriage, med school grad wife, 1-car storage shop.

Feel free to browse around and jump in when you can. We have plenty of ideas that will help you out. Some of our Active Military members may have suggestions on making a movable shop. Good Luck

Welcome to GJ. If it's that small and has to be moved in the future, I'd suggest starting with some very good storage that can be moved and taken with you first. Then maybe move to a workbench that is free standing or built over a bottom box.
