I've browsed this site occasionally in the past, and finally registered today. I ended up back here because I'm researching my options for a lift for my home garage, and this site appears to be the go-to place for reviews/discussions/info on all things garage.
About me: I'm an IT professional at a financial services firm in St. Louis, MO. I grew up watching my Dad work on cars back home in Detroit, and the bug has never left. I'm not a professional, but more of a competent shade tree mechanic. I know my limitations.
My current fleet consists of:
- 2012 335i (my DD)
- 2012 X3 (wife's DD)
- 2006 Saab 9-3 wagon (daughter's DD)
- 2003 Neon (my old DD, and my oldest's car when she's home from college in the summer)
- 2000 Dakota Quad Cab (gotta have a truck to haul stuff)
- 1974 Triumph Spitfire (the money pit, got it from my Dad)
I look forward to learning as much as I can about garage setups and options, and contributing where I can.
