Just discovered this site today and loved the stuff I was reading. I'm currently working on a '91 Chevy S10 and very much into auto body work and airbrushing. Working hard to make this a career. :)

Thanks for the welome, guys.

@1967lemans: Cheyenne here. I've been to Torrington quite a bit too. Pretty cool little town to visit. :)

@ 930dreamer: I'm about 15 minutes from the base (then again, who isn't?) lol. Good to find some prior Wyoming folks here.

Hello Everyone! Just purchased a 2012 Commander 1000 XT in Pure Magnesium Metallic last Friday. Spent the day Saturday riding in the mountains here in Wyoming. Great machine, love the ride and the handling. Already due for my first service.

I’m a member of our local Search & Rescue team here in the county. So I spend a lot of time on two track trails all over the mountains. I normally pull one of our rescue trailers with me most of the time. It’s an aluminum body carrier 58” wide. Room for one patient and a medic to ride along with the patient. Fairly light, about 200 lbs. So I thought this would be the perfect machine for that purpose.

The wife and I also travel as often as possible in our motor-home. Always tow a vehicle with us for local travels. We now tow either my Lexus LX 460 or a Ford Ranger with two Yamaha Vino Scooters in the rear. Now will have to trade in the Ford Range for a full size Pickup to be able to bring my new toy along. So I will be using the commander for local road use almost as much as mountain trail riding. Have lots of question and I know I will be able to learn a lot from here.

So, thanks in advance for all the help I know I will receive.
