New member has a problem with a Honda EM6000GP generator

Hello to all--- I just signed on to The Garage Journal, and I hope someone can help me. I have a Honda EM 6000GP generator in a cabin in the mountians behind Bakersfield, CA. It is about 8 years old, and has about 2800 hours on it. It was fully serviced in 2010. Recently, it has begun to stop running for no apparent reason. I can restart it easily, but it will run for about an hour and stall again. The plug is new, the oil is fresh and at the proper level, and the air filter is clean. Ideas?
