New member in Bakersfield, CA.

Hello Folks. Well I've sat back way too long and enjoyed watching everyone else having just too much fun with their garage make overs. I, like so many others struggle everyday with move this to make room for that. I finally had all I could stand so sprang into action just a mere 3 weeks ago to tackle my garage problem. I have saved monies and collected and sold speed equipment to fund this make over for about 4 years now in order that I could go just as high end as I could go right down to pebble tech flooring. I've enjoyed the site and look forward to posting the before, during and finished photos of the project along with why I made some of the material choices I did during this process. My cabinets should be complete by the end of the day tomorrow and I look forward to moving back into the most important part of a mans castle.....his Garage. Thanks to all for your input into this site as it sure opened my eyes to being able to complete my Garage at the level it. Dave in Bakersfield, CA.

Hey there, Dave. I guess I've been around here long enough to be able to say welcome. I had to reply to your intro - I used to live in Bakersfield, and have to say that it is one of the friendliest and most down-to-earth towns we have ever lived in. It turned out to be only a short stopover in our quest for a warm spot that we wanted to settle in, though. We lived there for a year and a half, but discovered that we really liked Las Vegas on a trip over here, and found a place that fit our long held ideas of the ideal home, so made the switch, and have no regrets.
