Hello Everyone - I'm not very tech savy but wanted to make an attempt at sharing my garage project from the idea stage to final build. The conceptual design has morphed into a final design that was quite different.
The placement of the garage in relation to the house has changed as well as the location of the doors. Everyone told me that whatever size I decided on, to add 10% so that's what I did. The final size is 32' x 46'. I'll try to show some of my sketches etc. as well as pictures along the way. If anyone has any advice, please feel free to provide it. I'm acting as the GC on this.
8/14 - Applied for building permit
9/21 - I received my permit Thursday evening.
9/23 - Foundation excavation started
9/25 - Footing forms were inspected and approved
9/26 - Footings were poured
9/27 - Setting of wall forms was complete
9/28 - Walls poured
9/29 - Forms removed
When I figure out how to add photos, I'll post them.
