Greetings.

I bought a house in New England a couple years ago with a detached barn/garage. At some point, it was expanded, and the extension was build around the other building, so it looks like a barn eating another barn and has some unique attributes to work around - namely, three different ceiling heights.

I have intended since I moved in to convert the back half to a hobby shop and the front half to a vehicle maintenance bay. As the house was abandoned for a couple years following the death of the owner, all of the wiring was pilfered from the garage. When I moved in, I ran power underground from the house and had a 100amp subpanel installed, and then life got in the way for a couple years due to lots of work travel. I'd really like to get back to this project, starting with wiring power and lighting throughout, then expanding from there.

I intend to do most of this DIY to save money and build sweat equity, as well as teach myself new skills, so will probably have lots of questions throughout the project. This seems like the right place to ask them, though, and I'm excited to move ahead with this
