I've been turning wrenches all my life, and I love garages. From the cluttered to the pristine, there is always some sense of wonder in every garage that I've been in, or for that matter, that I've seen here on the forum.

I learned to work on cars/trucks because I had to as a kid. I joined the Air Force and made a career in the aircraft maintenance field...F-16 crew chief in some position (crewing jets, phase dock chief, flight chief, unit deployment manager, and finally ending up in the aircraft maintenance school house) for 27 years now. Retired from active duty in 2004, and have been teaching new F-16 crew chiefs since. I love my job.

I've got several projects under way:

A 1965 Chevy II Nova with TCI clip and a narrowed 8.8
A 1965 C-10 that has been trapped in the barn for a few years (low priority)
A 1986 Bayliner 1950: I replaced the 5.0 with a 350, learned to fiberglass by replacing the deck, figuring out how to lay out the new interior now.

Well, that's enough for now. I’m looking forward to learning more from the forum's community and its posts.

Ahh, makes me think of one of my favorite Guy Clark songs, "Tornado Time in Texas:"

It'll take your wheat
It'll take your corn
Even take your cotton balls
**** the Red River just as dry as a bone
And dump it on Wichita Falls!

Zrexxer, I listened to that song...and wasted no time posting the link to my FB page.

Thanks for the welcomes.

What she looked like soon after I bought her, 1988.

Got busy working on it after going to Vernon TX for the Summer's Last Blast. Installed a TCI clip.

A recent picture, taken when I was narrowing a Ford Exploder 8.8 rear end.

Said rear end installed...disc brakes all around now. 3.73 LS. I have to bend new brake lines, and the shocks will go way for new ones, but at least the car rolls now.

And the boat just came back out of the barn...pics soon.
