I just joined the forum a few days ago after a long hiatus from the garage scene. Recently got back in 2 years ago with my new baby that has been heavily modified. I bought it at Fairfiield and they did all the performance work of which they are dealers for Arrington, Pettys Garage, Mr Norms an HHP. See attachment.

I am perplexed on the quality of tools in the stores and all the value engineering that was in my Dodge. I still have things to change. I have older Craftsman tools and have been buying some USA in original packaging at ebay.

Also been scanning threads here to get up to speed.

Thanks for the knowledge.

I live near Scranton PA.

Brendan

Let me be the second to toss out the Welcome mat Brendan. :D Any motorhead is a friend of mine for sure, but your Chally definitely caught my attention. I hope you enjoy the boards, make a lot of new friends and find everything you need.

I want to put a 468 all aluminum hemi in it with thitek heads. At Carlisle last year Arrington quoted me 20k. Currently it has their power trip package. It also needs forgeline rims that Petty quoted me, cutouts, line lock and a dynatrac dana 60. The stock engine doesn't even have a forged rod.

They don't make anything like they used to ... it's sad.

The whole factory suspension is garbage from the 4x4 ride height to defective rubber bushings including the ones in the rear cradle that cause wheel hop. I went with Pedders track package with Petty coilovers and lowered it 2" Shifter is junk and even the Hurst has problems of which they make a kit. Pistons are cast. Driveshaft and halfshafts are prone to breakage and have been replaced, The Getrag rear breaks with slicks. The stock pads exhibit excessive dusting. The rear deck lid spoiler is cheesy plastic. I idoesn't have gauges in the cockpit so I added those in the pillar. The factory Tremec can't handle the the 468.

I would not buy a post 2010 and they are putting blowers on these cars and not changing things and finding out the hard way.

I went to the SRT experience at Watkins Glenn and didn't like the factory cars.
