Just signed up today. And the footings on the new detached garage were poured yesterday, and the 4' wall foundations poured today.

I'm sure I will have a ton of questions as progress goes on. Just trying to beat 'Old man winter and get it enclosed.

Now for some questions??????

I had 3 holes placed in the lower part of the 4' wall. (Gas, water, electric)
Now that the holes are there, what do I put in them before the inside is filled with fill and the floor is poured?
I want gas for a furnace. Water for washing the cars. And of course electric.

You want to use the grey PVC pipe that is used for running underground conduit. you might want to check with the gas company to see what size conduit you should use. Also use the long sweep elbows if available.
One question on your power. Are you running power from the house and using a sub-panel set up, or are you running a separate service for the garage?

Run at least one CAt5e cable (for future networking), a phone line, some RG6 Coax (future dish tv). We're talkin' $30 in cable but now your ready fore the future. Run all these next to your water line or gas line to avoid electrical interference.

PS- that's going to have a nice view.
