Hi all. Some of this will be a repost of what I put in my introduction thread a week back, sorry if you have already looked at some of these pictures.
Anyway, I'm new to GJ and thought I would post up some pictures in this section. I will try to update this thread as I slowly make more upgrades to the garage. I'm sort of starting with a clean slate. I bought my first house, a 4-year old energy star house, late last summer after saving up for many years. This picture will probably show why I think it was the perfect house
The attached garage is just under 25' wide by 23' deep, and the detached is 21' wide by 28' deep. My plan is to make the attached garage more of a detailing area/hangout and use the detached garage for more of the dirty projects. Some of these photos were taken several months ago, before I started to clean things up. Sorry for the rides being dirty, these are the only decent pictures I have of the garage when I first got the house.
The attached garage, with my two toys, daily driver on the left, show/race toy on the right:
Plenty of room all around both of my vehicles:
My pride and joy, a heavily modified 2006 Pontiac GTO that I've been building up since I bought the car new in 2006.
Craftsman 6' work bench and stool that I picked up on Black Friday:
I finally started to organize my detailing supplies a few weeks ago:
And the detached garage. The previous owner left the peg board on the back wall and all of the extra paint cans for the walls in the house. The Camaro isn't mine. The owner is a good friend of mine and we were working on the car some that day.
My plans for the attached garage are to upgrade the ceiling lights, a wall mount TV with an old computer hooked up to it, paint the walls in a two tone pattern, and maybe a small couch or futon and mini-fridge in front of the GTO.
