Hello! Found you guys while trying to ID a Hein Werner jack that I picked up. I love it, as I learned long ago that new tools are junk!

The ID plate is missing, and I see no 1.5 ton stamping on the top anywhere. It is now a toothpaste green color but was originally reddish in color. A stamp mark on the bottom reads Y1-2. Anyone know the year and or tonnage?

^ It appears to be an older model, at least from what I can guess from looking at what little documentation I have.
International Tool Catalog Library is currently down, otherwise you might find some help there.
I have to wonder if "Y" is the model number.

Thanks for the quick help! Yeah I was wondering that, especially since the badge is missing. Screwed on badges don't just fall off, lol.

well..... log onto that link I just posted above, donate a few bucks to the cause, and hopefully they'll get the site back up and running again soon... some idiots took it down with a series of DDoS attacks a few weeks ago, much to the detriment of the tool collecting community.

Its an Oh Boy. 1-1/4 tons.
I have both the Oh Boy and the WS (1-1/2 tons). I just measured both. The WS saddle pad is 7-3/8ths in diameter, while my Oh Boy measures right at 5.5.

Thank you so much!! Now I can order a new badge for it!!

Can you post pics and year info of your 1.25 ton? Also, does yours have the Y1-2 marking on the bottom?

Another picture. I got it from an old drag racing guy. It was painted yellow when they were using it on their dragster, then he repainted it orange.

I feel like mine is a different year or something bc it has rounded bolt heads on the sides and I also see no 1.25 ton etching on the top of mine.

Yeah, yours is older. The 1-1/4 ton is cast into the lifting arm.
The Y12 is probably the mold that the piece was cast from.
