Hey GJ! Been reading and creeping around here for months and decided I'd go ahead and jump on board. I'm currently in the process of trying to make our 1 car attached garage easier to use and more productive. It's come a long way in the past few weeks. Hoping to start the epoxy floor next week since it will be decent outside. We love building fun cars and anything that involves turning a wrench or striking a arc! Hope to continue getting ideas from this forum!

Old pic from a few years ago complete mess and almost impossible to move around a car.

Then here is more recent. cleaned out the back corner, bleached and painted some black mold with killz. (note the epic mess of a shelf)

And finally, here is how it sits as of today. Hoping to get out there tonight and knock out some organizing.

Well, thats about all I can think to say for now. Any feedback/ comments is appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks! actually yes, we did our gym in the basement in behr 1 part epoxy floor paint and tossed some color chips over it. Seeing as we have a good bit of paint left over from that project, I believe we're going to pressure wash the **** out of the floor, then throw a few coats of that over it (minus the flakes), and a few coats of Seal Krete clear seal gloss over that. Were all about doing things low budget so we figure if we can make the floor look a little nicer for ~$30 then why not. lol. I'll see if I can dig a pic up of the gym floor. Its been down for probably 2-3 years with 2 coats, flakes, and no top coat and has held up surprisingly well considering we slam weights on it every day.

I have floors that look similar to yours so I am interested to see how it turns out.

I'll be starting a thread in the flooring section when we start on the floor. I've used the same Behr 1 part epoxy on tons of different applications and every time with minimal prep work (acid etching is for squares). I'm hoping the pressure washing will knock some of the slick surface off the floor tho. It's not quite what i would call polished, but it's pretty smooth.

So, got a little bit done today. Been sealing up cracks and gaps with great stuff all week. Took a break from that to clean out the corner of old lawn tools and garbage. There is an old wooden bin that held rakes, brooms, weed eaters and such. Cleaned it up and am gonna re purpose it as a Stand for the blast cabinet I don't own yet. lol. On a side note, anyone got any clever ideas for push mower storage???
