long time lurker, first time poster. starting next month we'll be adding a 32' wide by 28' deep detached garage next to our home. i have a contractor friend doing the masonry (footers, block foundation with brick ledge, brick covering 2 rows of block above grade, floating floor with drains) and electric; and the structure itself is being done by shawnee structures, a western pa company with a solid reputation- they do pre-fab walls and can typically finish the structure itself in 1-2 days (they do nothing with electric or masonry). will have two 10x8 garage doors, 3 windows, one man door. lots of space for storage. will try to add pics as we go along!
