I was cruising looking for a part and general information for a John Deere 116.
Okay, Okay I know someone should be better at what they have except I did not. Husband bought it and I was not interested. Grief it is old! Last year when it needed a starter no problem, this year the starter coil is not quit as easy! The 116 that we have has probably had "Only Knows What Removed" shame!
The guy at the part store told my husband you have an "Antique" duh! I use it to mow two acres plus who antiques? I do not have time. Parts guys......
Well the part arrived! It is up and running! Thankfully. Back to mowing nothing makes him happier than his mower is running. Now I am not am not a mechanic I am a hokey pokey. If it comes out one way, it must go back that way. Correct? Sure enough except the wires are shorter, oh well, live with it, previous owner has reworked some other things. Shame. I am glad I followed my grandfather every step he made. He is laughing hard from up above.
