Being a new member I wanted to say hello to all and introduce myself. My name is John and I have been visiting the site for a while and decided to join.
I have a 3 car garage that is divided into a 24' x 24' on one side and a 24' x 18' on the 2nd side. Ceiling height is standard 8' with open truss on the 24 x 24 side and I want to install a 4 post lift. I want to cut out and re-design the truss so that I can get at least 10' or more total height. Has anyone done this modification and if so what were the results (good or bad). I would appreciate any suggestions.
