Hi I have been trolling here for a few days thought I would join up and make an introduction. Some may have seen my post about my junk store find Wilton vise (50.00 bucks had it in my car) also my camel back drill press post. I live in Oregon and have a regular job and a small machine shop at home were I make and repair all sorts of things some are paying jobs some are for me. Here are a few pics of some random stuff. Current project is a repair of an old BUX mag drill for a local welding shop. the new shaft and bushings also 3 new handle rods this is a interesting repair due to the alum casting and some really bad chisel and hammer repairs from the past. Also is a pic of a 2 year ground up resto of a 62 Austin Mini (recently sold)
Dave

D-M: you might want to go in your GJ profile and put in your location as either Oregon, or city/state or PNW like i do because i'm all over this great part of the world. also while you are in your profile you can click on Avatar and download one of your favorite pictures. i've had a few and this old Bison made by a welder in South Dakota out of scraps and old rusty tools seems to fit me for now.

here's a thread i started for us in the PNW and i'm actually looking for information about Lincoln City if you know a few great places to visit or eat out there.

welcome to the group and this is a great spot to ask questions if you have any because there are several of us that enjoy helping new members if we can and see your questions.
