Hello all,
I was browsing the net to get ideas to modify a trailer and came across this site. I don't like the tongue on my trailer so I was considering using an a frame coupler and 6" channel for the tongue.
I have a 6' x 18' trailer built with 6" channel for the frame and cross members 3' on center and 4" cross members between the main cross members. It has a 4" tube center tongue to an adjustable pintle hitch type coupler. 3" channel from square tongue angled back to outer frame just in front of the axles. It is a very long heavy duty trailer that I have no need for so my idea is to cut it down to make a heavy duty 6' x 12' tandem axle trailer with bi fold ramps and side rails.
Looking for any input you experts may have.
Thanks, Jay
