Just wanted to say hello and introduce my self. My name is Steve I live in Illinois. I am a retired Maintanance supervisor. The reason I got on this site was to research how to alter a truss in my polebarn. Getting ready to convert my polebarn in to a shop to work on my car.It is going to get a concrete floor a couple ot roll up doors and a automotive lift and a compressor for air tools.
So you may see me on here asking a lot of questions,

EASLERS: yes your wallet will never ever have a benjamin in it very long, but you'll have much nicer tools and smile a lot more.

WELCOME TO THE FORUM and ask away. might i ad that asking questions on threads talking about what you are looking for answers about is better than just asking questions so do a little research and reading because you are not inventing the wheel.

there are a lot of very handy guys here and you'll get lots of help if you ask nicely and feel free to share your knowledge if you have some to help others.

cheers

also your thread might get moved to the introduction area, but i'll let the MODS do that and they do a great job keeping us for the most part SPAM FREE, but we all help if and when we can.

Welcome to the site. :hellobye:

Fair warning, this site can be hazardous to your wallet's health. :lol_hitti

Welcome! Definitely stay out of the vise and craftsman block grinder threads, or otherwise you will own 7 vises and 5 grinders by the end of next week.

Hi easlers, and welcome to the forum. I think drivesitfar touched on a very important subject. The subject being the wallet, this forum is similar to owning a JEEP. It helps you Just Empty Every Pocket. So my word of advice is to stay away from the tool acquisition threads, it becomes addictive.

Have a nice day.

Welcome to the forum, two things to keep in mind--- keep a track of your purchases and research before you buy. The search feature on this forum is pretty darn handy and Google does a pretty good job aggregating information from all the threads here. :D

It's all about getting those tool purchases "right from the start" ;)
