I just found this forum while searching for comparisons on Harbor Freight MIG welding machines. I hope to become an active contributor. I retired from heavy construction after 45 years starting as a welder and them moving into project quality management of piping, welding, civil, structural, rotating machinery and engineering oversight for Code compliance. I spent my last 15 years working on foreign assignment projects in Canada, Mexico, Great Britain, Peru, Angola, Algeria and Nigeria. I also did a project in Saudi Arabia way back in 1982.
I retired to a small farm in Arkansas where I play with my little Kubota B26 TLB and my larger P7010 LS tractor with FEL which I use for my larger mowing and dirt moving projects.
I bought my first personal welding machine, a Miller 250 amp stick machine when I bought my farm and built my 30x30 shop with 2 ea. 12x30 wing sheds on the side for my tractor storage. I recently got into MIG and FCAW welding using HF Titanium machines starting with a little 125 FCAW machine that really welds well for it's size. I am in the process of upgrading to a Vulcan 215 MIG just a soon as HF can get one at the store.
