Thought I show my shop in the middle of my remodel. My family built this 40x64 pole building and had been living in it for the last four years while we saved to build our dream home. I finished building my own home last year so I started tearing out the living quarters to finally have my shop. I have a side business where I run a upfitting company and have a couple vehicles in the shop now. Im hoping to finish some paint work and completely change the lighting. I could use some opinions on how to hide the overhead storage it just looks sloppy. After I get caught up I hope to do something with the concrete floors and add more storage across the front of the shop.

Got a floor drain for wet cars? One of the main winter things I use my building for is parking when its super bitter and I have a plumbed in hot pressure washer which I knock the grime off outdoors mainly but pull in overnight to thaw and dry and even park my plow truck in when we get a steady diet of single digits or below. Even park a couple daily drivers in when its like that.

You've got a good start and looks like a busy place.

As for the upper storage, why not just continue with a either a full wall or partial wall with swing out doors to allow access for larger objects.

I have a a floor drain and the concrete is sloped towards the drain. If a vehicle is wet or snow covered it drains really good. Also the place heats incredibly well. Now that the living quarters are gone the shop will be air conditioned in the summer. :)

Building a wall may be the only option for me. I do have more interior metal but was kinda thinking the was my last choice.
As far as my shop being busy yes it's about all I can keep up with by myself and still hold down a full time job. Here's a link to my shop fb page which shows some work I've done if anyone is interested.
